Pros & Cons
Pros
Neewer nw680 is an excellent, inexpensive alternative to canon's ex600 speedlite. Great color balance rendition in e-ttl ii mode, auto zoom worked perfectly with excellent sync with my canon 24-105mm f/4 l is zoom lens. Great plug n play solution.
I think these are the best bang for your buck, especially if you are trying to get good flashes on a budget. It's my first flash, so i'd say it's good for beginners. If this goes 5k cycles and dies, it's still a great deal! Hands down best bang to you... Read More
The nikon diffuser works perfectly. Maybe 600 rt are better, maybe even waaay better but for the average photographer, semi pro these are great to start with.
Same flash, less complication. Both have * capability.
Cons
The e-ttl feature is not there either. It flashes but has no idea what the camera is telling it. However, the auto zoom feature does not.
Three by phone (all you get is an answering machine). No response from them. This will be sent back.

Guaranteed to hit the mark and get my shot.
Price
Definitely a good bargain for how fast and easy it is!
The price was fantastic and functions perfect.
I just wished it had remote firing, but even so a wireless firing device is less than 20 bucks.
A good price for what you get.
Shipping
Arrived sooner than expected and works 100%.
They shipped me a new one fast.
Make sure you get an instruction manual if you get the flash shipped without one.
Packaging/appearance
It does come with a soft cloth storage bag which is nice.
Competitiveness
It is very easy and simple to use with lots of power compare to expensive counterparts.
The neewer nw680 is an excellent, inexpensive alternative to canon's ex600 speedlite.
I don't feel too distressed to take it out, and it's not worse than the brand name.
If you are doing more simple flash shooting go with the neewer 670 instead.
