But i checked out the one or two things i had yet to try and found that the panorama base was either too loose and caused the entire ball head to wobble

After trying to tighten the third smaller knob that locks the panorama feature i found that there was no happy medium

The ball head would either be loose and wobble in the platform it screws into or would be totally locked and too tight to rotate in the pano base at the top of the center post

Either alternative makes the pano function pretty much useless

Likely it is a simple fix and i would prefer donating my labor to the vendor to repair this unit than sending it back for refundreplacement or repair
