Highlights
Quality
I bought this for my nikon d600 over the christmas and it works great so far no problems what so ever , fits good and it works :)
Best option to the nikon original, just do not expect the same quality control and durability
It has a very plastic feeling and the multi selector is mushy feeling.
Edit: the one downfallthe ae/af lock button is terrible.
Price
This grip is amazing for the price.
I love mine and like i said, with the cost you really can't go wrong.
You can throw away five of these before you've spent the price of nikon's.
Bought this one because of the lowest price at the time, and did not expect much.
Packaging/appearance
Package properly packed and the manual written in normal english (!
Box shows a different grip than is inside.

Although it looks like it's in the same position as the nikon brand, i accidentally press it on this one constantly.
The shutter button and scroll wheels feel almost exactly like the one on the camera - more than i can say about the nikon branded grip.
This is probably is not limited to just neewer but might be a characteristic of other vertical grips as well.

That of course would be a feature of almost any vertical grip not necessarily the neewer only

In that way you will likely only need to charge the easiest battery to access most of the time

Btw if you use lithium aa in the battery grip charging the internal battery may occur so seldom that just charging for 34maintence34 maybe all that is ever needed

For the price its an excellent substitute for the nikon brand battery grip

Of course like the nikon brand grip for some reason this camera doesnt go into the on board battery compartment and instead sort of 34plugs in34 instead so youll still need to remove it to charge the battery in the camera itself
