Nice touch and good build quality, fits my nikon d5100 snugly, just feels like an original part of the camera but not additional component.
Fits well with my camera, i use it with the original nikon batteries, immediately reconginzed and no error messages.
Price
Just right for my d5200, and the price is perfect.
I received my nikon battery grip for my d5 100 product pretty good in reasonable price happy with my purchase just ordered another one.
Competitiveness
The grip works well, i use it on a d5500.
I have a d7100, but this brought life back to my d5100 .
It also sits stably on my tripod so now i'm looking forward to try a time-lapse video with it some day.
It's a good choice if you want a battry grip for extended shooting times.

The shutter button is in the right location for shooting portraits and it works just like the shutter button on the camera
