However i decided to use the mini on the camera as it raises the camera to eye level and i dont have to extend the center column on the tripod

In this configuration the camera strap loop on the left of the body hits the support arm and this prevents the shoe from being tightened all the way down

This is not an issue with longer and heavier lenses because the camera body shifts to the rear and clears the arm

I received it yesterday and immediately observed an issue unless the horizontal axis locking screw is tightened the swiveling arm is sagging
