The listing clearly states that this is compatible with the falcom 38, but it is not. As shown in my pictures, the neewer plate is too large for the baseplate.

This thing is really built to last, with quality you'd have faith in when mounting your expensive camera equipment.

A very well made 38mm quick release plate.

It is made of durable aluminium alloy, and it feels very solid in the hand.

The edges are smooth so you're not going to scrape your fingers (like i've had with some cheap tripod accessories!

Yes it appears 'expensive for what it is', but the old adage 'buy cheap.

Overall i am very happy with the quick release plate, i do feel it is slightly overpriced but i would still recommend it.

Competitiveness

Its quite a deal compared to the peak designs version, yet it still works with my peak designs backpack strap mount.

I've had cheaper plates in the past (used for cameras and telescopes) which have done the job ok, but this neewer is in a different league.
