I have a rather wide lens hood so it would occasionally catch the hood and get stuck

Long as you are shooting horizontal you are fine not sure it works for vertical shooting

Does its job however it is kind of bulky and the extendable arm that covers your camera can only come in so far and if you are at the shortest range of your lens example 1855mm then the edges of your photo will have the rain shield in the photo

Sure it was a bit big for the camcorder and there was no good place to anchor the bar but with slight bit of ingenuity i got it stay in place

The only issue was getting to the zoom button which sits on top of the camcorder but that was a minor issuesspecially since this wasnt made for the camcorder

Not that i am looking forward to shooting in the rain again but ifwhen i do i know that both of my cameras will be well protected
