The rubber grips will protect against scrapping and i had no problem tightening it onto my granite table.

This clamp seems well built and holds my gear well on anything i've chosen to mount it on.

The clamp is incredibly sturdy; once it's secured onto a pole, it doesn't budge.

It can easily clamp onto flat surfaces or durable piping and poles.

This is a great value for a super clamp, you can never have too many of these!

Competitiveness

I'll be honest -- i don't see much in the way of difference between this neewer super clamp and a manfrotto.

The only issue is the wedge insert doesn't attach to the stud knob as it does with every other brand of clamp.

This is another well thought out design from neewer.
