Which you can just use it without battery since the only function that need battery is for backlid screen and bold timer

You attach the connector to the camera at a slightly skewed diagonal angle so that the 3 metal prongs on your camera fit into their slots

A couple minor problems first the plug is very very snug going into the camera almost to the point where i questioned whether it was correctly inserted
