I think with that discount, it is a fair price.
Price-wise i can't say exactly that it's a bargain this time.
Competitiveness
Other companies seem to sell small accessories for a similar price so in this case it's not so much that neewer will save you money.
For my needs, a little longer plate will be better for heavier lenses, such as olympus 12-100/4.
I ended up getting neewer's camera cage as well as this adapter and so far i really like them (though i've always liked neewer as a brand).

Its quite small so if your gear is too large it may not fit within this cheese plate

Its cheap pick one up throw it in your bag and do what we all love to do experiment with different gear configs until you find the perfect one

I remember when neewer was the new kid on the block id pick up their new product and itd be meh however these days they seem to continue to come out with even better and better products

Of course the cheese plate can be used to attach so many different things as you have 6x 1434 mounting holes and 1x 3834 mounting hole

I got this because the original mount for my field monitor wasnt great and i couldnt mount it sideways if i wanted to

It comes ¼” and 38” female threaded holes and is made of machined aluminum

One downside is that it would have been nice to have at least one through hole in it for mounting from the back side instead of having all threaded holes for topside only mounting options
