My monopod has interchangeable feet a spike and a soft foot but changing between them in the field is a pain

The large rubber feet have traction nibs on the bottom and they are attached to a heavy duty ball head that has a removable spike foot screwed into it for the times you need a spiked foot instead of a rubber one

It is a pain to take them off for storage

For planned or studio shoots with hard surfaces these rubber feet will work best but they aren’t ideal for carpeted surfaces
