The handle needs to be shortened by about and inch or so and it would be much more versatile to use

I keep it clamped on my desk and when not in use it doesnt get in the way like other tripods will

The only thing is if you are purchasing this make sure theres enough space underneath your table to fit the clamp so it will turn properly and have something to clamp on evenly

For example if you want to use this on your island table then make sure the table top extends far enough from the island cabinet or if you are using a an office desk the table legs wont get in the way
