This microphone from neewer is very similar but is usb connection.

Also the microphone itself and a usb cablethe arm itself is pretty standard no better or worse than most cheap adjustable arms however the base is quite solid and much better than many others

The connection between the shock mount and the arm is a little bit flimsy and i can never get it positioned right

It is fairly directional in that you do need to have it quite close to your mouth in order to be heard but it doesnt seem to pick up too much background noise like tv etc as long as they arent tourned up too loud

One little foible it has a largish fine thread on the base which looks as if it could have some sort of cover to help keep the usb b type connector plugged in tightly as i have found that this connector can become loose with use

The boom arm fits onto the table clamp and then the microphone holdercradle screws onto the boom and the microphone is clamped into the shock absorbing cradle

The circular pop shield is then clamped onto the boom arm and can be moved by carefully bending it into position
