Highlights
Quality
Considering the cost, i was a bit skeptical about the quality but its built pretty solid and mounts very well.
The build quality is sufficient and doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart.

Don't expect the quality of nikon's brand but even though, its very good.
Price
This grip cost me 1/8 the cost.
Definitely worth the price and works great.
But that is expected because it's made of plastic and 1/10th the price of the original grip.
So far it is a great unit, all that i was looking for and the price make that even better.
Shipping

Packaging/appearance
The ok/rocker is a little more clumsy than the nice one on the back of the d7100, but it works.
Competitiveness
My neewer product is more than satisfactory to do the job and for the price it's superb!
However, i can say that it felt very well made and would make a great grip for your d7100 camera.
I've been using a newer battery grip on a d7000 for 28 months without any issues.
If it were made of metal and anywhere near the nikon's price, i'd rate it in that class and give it less stars.
