I also think, and this is my preference, that buying cages for each phone gets expensive.

Take a look at the example photos i've posted that show the difference between the standard lens and the anamorphic.
Competitiveness
I've had similar style cages from other brands on my previous generation iphone, and this one stands head and shoulders above them.
The neewer phone cage adds considerable bulk to my phone, making it comparable in size to an iphone max at 3 3/8 x 6 3/8 inches.
There's a reason that professional camera lenses cost significantly more than the cameras themselves.

Beyond that the case is very sturdy almost overkill in my opinion but it does give me the confidence that i could essentially throw my phone across the room and it wouldnt suffer a scratch for whatever thats worth
