Price
This flash packs a lot of features in it for a nice price.
At any rate, a great flash at the price point--just like its predecessor.
Currently spare batteries for the z2 are selling for about $50.
For the price, it's a solid purchase.

The battery stays charged very well but i miss being able to snag a few aa batteries to keep my speed light going— i suppose i should just buy a spare but that’s painful compared to buying aa batteries

The ttl function works okay not amazing i assumed most brands would have this dialed in by now but i had much more consistent results with my older cheaper yongnuo speed light this occurred across multiple cameras from 5d classic to canon r6

The way this flash also the q4 communicates with the remote is kind of janky if i make ttl adjustments on the remote it’s not reflected on the speed light and vice versa

I believe the manual says these settings are accounted for independently and allows for 3 stops via remote and an additional 3 stops on the light itself but between the inconsistent ttl performance and the feeling that the speed light and trigger aren’t communicating properly because they don’t reflect the same settings this makes me feel like there’s just something wrong with it

This could be user error but i’ve never had these feelings with yongnuo or canon speed lights
