Pros

Made from scratch, saved 100. It seems to be a relatively new phenomena, but this kit has saved me from a bunch of return headaches. The taps and dies seem to be quality made and hold their edge after several uses no problem. Good bang for your buck.

Cons

Handles/holders have poor interface for taps and dies, * clunky. They are worse than worthless, they actually will torpedo your project. Some are; some aren't.

The storage case is so flimsy that it flexes, allowing the taps to come out of their slots and get mixed together. I assume the case will not securely hold the contents. There is also no handle on the case, which should definitely have one for the siz... Read More

These are a great value for the money.

I had one project in mind when i purchased the set and as soon as it arrived i got straight to it.

Packaging/appearance

The lovely amazon employee added no packing material and pieces of the kit were literally falling out of the box.

Just be ready in case you got a bad packing to request a refund or replacement.

On opening the box i was a little disappointed as expected the smaller size dies to be 1 inch and the larger ones 1.
