Pros & Cons

Pros

Used this tool religiously as a diesel tech. The cuts are repeatable, and clean. I love neiko products and this doesn’t completely disappoint.

They crimp beautifully. Stripper is super sharp and crimper area is angled sufficiently as to provide a great non slip crimp. Crimps uninsulated * connectors very well.

Cons

Worked well for about a year on light duty stripping. Handle space is too small to get proper leverage for a proper crimp. When it strips the sheath off the wire, the piece it strips off seems to get jammed in the jaw mechanism.

The product is not as advertised. This is a faulty product do not buy. Spend the couple of extra bucks and buy milwaukee.

Quality

They are very sturdy and well made.

Great pliers with so many uses from crimping to stripping.

The only thing i wish this had was a spring function.

They’re a little stiff when new but loosen up after a few uses for easier one-handed operation.

Price

I really only use these for but connectors great for that and good price

Competitiveness

Works better than any klein, craftsman, or other wire stripper/crimper i can find for tight spaces.

If you're comparing them side, i think the otc ones are better objectively speaking, but they are also $45 dollars.

Amazon seems to be combining neiko reviews here…wire stripper review… i purchased these after i got the pliers (below) because ...  Read More

I saw a video of a guy comparing multi-pliers and in his comparison these 6-in-1/ 7-in-1 pliers were in the bunch.

So when you first get them spray the pivot point with a lubricant before use as it is very stiff and do so till worn where you can use easily… now they strip and crimp as good as my mac set i have so the value is good and the durability of the strippers and cutting edge hold up very well when used properly

I saw a video of a guy comparing multipliers and in his comparison these 6in1 7in1 pliers were in the bunch

My only two real gripes is that when crimping wires together the pliers sort of dig into your hand

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its not too bad but if youre having to do a major wiring job and splice a bunch of stuff together then they can start to become uncomfortable while splicing stuff together

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Also another small thing but the wire cutters are inside the pliers on the bottom side of the pivot

If youre comparing them side i think the otc ones are better objectively speaking but they are also 45 dollars
