Pros & Cons
Pros
Durable item. Works well. Wishes neiko would make other combinations metric and sae.
Love that it's magnetized. Also the base is magnetic so it will hold on various metal surfaces. My only gripe is that i wish the magnet was a bit stronger. These magnetic hex but holders are great for all those pesky hex screwdriver bits.
You get one of each size 1/4 3/8 and 1/2. They do an excellent job of storing your sockets. It's a compact bit holder that holds your bits.
The base magnet is strong and the bits stay put. With its magnetic base, bits sit stably in it. Yes if you drop it the bits come out, duh!
Cons
The magnet that is supposed to hold the tips in the holder is quite weak. The magnetic hold is nonexistent. If you try to carry or use on your back on a creeper as i do, your sockets fall off.
Set of three socket holders is probably fine for taking the socket holders out of the shop, and then returning the tray back to your tool chest. Unfortunately, the only way to have the best of both worlds, is to have a very large drawer or set of draw... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Easy to insert and remove bits, and the magnet is strong enough for all but the heaviest (longest) bits.
The magnets in this mount are nice and strong for this intended use, and i'll definitely recommend it to my coworkers!
Magnetic bottom as well as the individual holes.
Because this is in my toolbox the drill bits are too tall to have it stand upright so it's magnetically stuck to the inside edg... Read More
Price
Overall, a good buy for the money.
Competitiveness
These are quality socket holders at a fraction of the big name brand tool manufactures.
For the price 5 stars, ones 15$ more had the same sizing issues, magnet strength from a more expensive brand was not noticeable.
I guessed that might be an issue, but those are also pretty easy to find in there compared to all the little bits.

Because this is in my toolbox the drill bits are too tall to have it stand upright so its magnetically stuck to the inside edge of the toolbox

That works just fine for all the regular bits but the drill bits sometimes come out while the toolbox is bouncing around on the back seat floor of my truck

Likely hard to meet every brands needs

Cant say much about this its just a block of plastic with some magnets

But the magnets are a good strength to hold 1434 bits without retaining them to much

Holes themselves are a bit oversized so you dont have to use a pliers to pull bits out
