Pros

Step drill is great for diy pedal builder who may not have a drill press. Drills into plexiglass perfectly. Perfect, clean holed. Able to enlarge three holes and drill a hole on my 2023 toyota camry for hitch installation.

Cons

Tried to enlarge cut out holes in an aluminum junction box. Couldn't even drill a 1’ hole in 24 guage soffit metal. This bit might work better on wood, but is no good for drilling aluminum.

Just burns through it. Burnt out after barely using once. Instead of shavings, these bits go dull quickly and produce fine metal dust.
