Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The neiko 01902 delivers reliable results. Its durable construction and useful features provide good value for the money. Nice convenient assortment of bits with carrying case. Very handy and very functional.

This adaptability is particularly useful for soldering. Whether you are soldering circuit boards or assembling miniature models. For smaller gauges esp. Adjustable etching * works great.

The alligator clips are strong and secure, capable of holding small parts firmly in place. The flexible arms are easy to maneuver, allowing users to position their workpiece at the optimal angle.

Cons

The magnifier is cumbersome and difficult to position. You have to loosen the thumb screws and then the ball joint is too loose. There is simply no way that the tiny metal * (metal strips) can be manipulated to hold the magnifier on the device.

Useful product, the only thing i would like is a bigger base for more stability.

Price

Good once you factor the inexpensive price, but both are important (especially the second), so knocking off one star

Pivot points are a little sloppy but the price was right.

You get your money's worth with this gizmo.

The directions say to loosen and tighten the tip release screw with a flathead screwdriver but it actually requires a hex wrench
