Pros & Cons
Pros
It looks like it's a quality foam, but only time will tell if it’s more durable. Will be interesting to see if the foam lasts longer than the previous pad when sitting in storage. Better than mirka and dynabrade backing pads.
Soft material is the real replacement of my last attachment for sandpaper attachment. Most all my psa discs are solid, no vac holes so i don’t need the perforated discs. Also did some 150-180 grit sanding on the turned posts.
Cons
I have absolutely no idea what made me purchase these made out of foam. Backing pad not as described. Looks almost identical to my old disk, but it is not the same.
Highlights
Quality
So far this pad has held up well and at 1/3 the price of the genuine pc pads i am pleased with the product.
The best ,great quality , hook and loop fastener is the best
Price
Great price, easy install and fast delivery!
The old porter cable sander is built like a tank and runs great, so it’s good there are 3rd party replacements at reasonable cost.
Shipping
I-r stepped up and replaced the part, but the shipping delay had me scrambling for an interim pad.
Competitiveness
I get good results from neiko tools and ordered this pad.
I switched over to these neiko pads and have never been disappointed.

It was almost impossible to pull the sandpaper off the foam version and it always took some of the foam with it this actually lets the paper peal off and is much more sturdy
