I crimped a 16awg wire in a blue fitting and it pulled right out, very disappointed; then i managed to get a couple to hold quite well.
What can you say about a crimper it either works well or doesn’t .
These are capable of being good crimpers for the price point.

If the crimp is completed the tool automatically opens so theres no need to flip the release

I looked into the mechanism itself the spring catch is so misaligned the catch wont always grab the teeth expand the picture to see
