There are spurts where it's really interesting and enjoyable and full of medium level science. Very captivating. Rotor creates an exploratory camp there and finds interesting things about the moon.

The planet adopts the daughter of an astronomer and develops a rapport with her that allows her to show the way to save earth. Peril for earth is discovered with nemesis.
Cons
Marlene is not up to * with asimov's other works. Not one is truly likable.
