Pros
The dac is connected to a bt20a bluetooth 5. Stereo amp, a great combo for under $100. It seems to be the only way i could connect my digital audio output on my smart tv to my older sony surround that only has rca jacks.
The quality of the unit is top notch as it was housed in a metal container. This works fantastic! Works fine and looks good quality construction.
The sound quality is great with no hum or hiss, but i had to crank the volume to almost the max to get a good sound volume. The picture on the 4ktv screen is really crispy and the sound thru the sound bar is excellent. Crisp and clear.

Cons
Constant buzzing and crackling through headphones and speakers. No sound via rca cables into a stereo receiver and no sound via headphones.

This is well made and the sound quality is excellent.
Sound quality is very good and the power lead is long enough to plug into the back of a free usb port on the new tv.
Requires a usb to a/c adapter if your tv or amp doesn’t have a usb that can power a device
No audio out on the tv so this spid to analogue 3.

I've bought a smart samsung tv, a model that has been discontinued, for just c$ 250.

Came with everything i needed to hook up my old receiver for ir wireless headphones.

Next, i followed the instructions to have the samsung remote control the volume on the yamaha receiver rather than the internal speakers.

The television works great but the problem was its headphone connection

At the back of the tv instead there was an optical jack input a squarish connection and that is not very common
