Pros

This scale is well constructed. It is very stable. This repeatability is quite an achievement for such an inexpensive device. Highly recommend. But would really be nice if there was a way to just borrow/rent one.

Cons

It takes 3 or 4 presses of the tare button to get to zero. Even after calibration, the reading constantly jumps up and down.

Is it worth 14-15 bucks? Absolutely useless. These are basically rebrands of a generic gauge you can buy for 6 dollars on ebay if you are willing to wait a month for delivery.

01 is the tolerance this is good enough for setting a phone cartridge's tracking force.

Too low can cause distortion on bass notes and even skipping of the stylus along and across the grooves.

Price

This well-reviewed and inexpensive tool has delivered as expected.

This repeatability is quite an achievement for such an inexpensive device.

But for the price, this one does what i needed it to do.

This is a good scale for the price.

I bought "new" but it sure seemed like a previously used item (box closed with a small piece of scotch tape).
