Pros

The neoteck device looks and feels durable and comes with a very nice fitted case. Aside from the mounting plate, the gauge is highly accurate and the storage case is also adequate.

Cons

Both are re-issues (used product being sold as new) both had bad led displays (as well as scratches and missing packing material) the indicator body has a usb port cover which is labled usb, but no actual connection point. It keep adding 0. Only 0. No... Read More

The only bright side is that they are cheap enough to throw away with no real regret. Not accurate enough for machining setups. My patience and benefit of the doubt allowance is pretty much dried up with amazon.

These are good and accurate, i have 2 and the batteries last forever in them.

This dial gauge is very nice overall and appears very well made.

Other than this advertised feature that doesn't work, the indicator is fine.

----------------------------i got this less than a year ago and only used it a couple of times to help setup the gantry on my 3d printer.

Price

Digital gauges were just becoming available and were very expensive.

Batteries are cheap for this unit and i have enough to last a lifetime now with one order of them from amazon.

Shipping

Came quickly and turned out to be a very precise dial indicator.

Arrived with a dead battery, was able to run over to a hardware store and pick up a energizer 357/303 battery.
