There is a very noticeable background ‘crackle’. This background interference isn’t present with the hdmi cables or speakers alone. It's sad to see there is no electrical safety to prevent your more valuable output and input devices when using it.

I use it to split the audio out of the hdmi from a ps5 and feed it into my av amp.

I used an android box previously for filmstv via netflixprime etc which had optical out so was fine for that but these boxes cant output amazon hd music
