Pros
Tool is very handy for checking the power is off. Very positive with 240v, minor glitch with 110v, but replaced no quibble.
Cons
Useless device, it detects voltage on any wire even if there is no power. Massively disappointed, this is about as accurate as a metal detector. Save your money and buy a multi meter of mains tester instead.
This product needs its sensititvity appropriately calibrated to be a safe and useable tool. Too sensitive with no way of altering the sensitivity.

Wish i bought the upgraded version with the flat head attachment.

Item appears to detect live circuits but seems also to give false live indications in places where no electricity exists

I work in maintinance i find this tool very handy it keeps me safe when checking that the power is off

However you should never rely on one device to ensure the current is off
