It basically works like this without the iphone attached i have no clue how that actually works as mine doesnt fit there are 2 switches on the side of the gun 1 is for power the other is to set it for indoors or outdoors i assume the outdoors mode is to adjust for uv or something but thats just a guess as the instructions dont specifically say

You then squeeze the trigger and you have 10 seconds to make like a tree and get outta there before you get lit up
