Pros
Unlike the blasters, it fire three shots in rapid succession. It adds a videogame element to the fun, which can actually be played sans gun but is much more fun with one. Fires an invisible light beam, with 3 rapid bursts.
Cons
The toy is really noisy and was just a massive disappointment to find it has to be used with a phone. Why on earth are toy companies so intent on putting kids in front of a screen when they are having playtime?
Highlights
Quality
Build quality is also pretty good, solid plastic feels very sturdy and high quality.
It is quite accurate and works very well with the other guns.
Especially with the app that links to his dads phone.
The laser gun at least can be used if you have just one gun in single player with the app.
Price
Great fun, kids love them and are very happy, good price.
Packaging/appearance
Easy to set up after getting out of the box, sadly batteries not included.
Competitiveness
It takes 6 aa batteries, which i note is more than some competitor systems use (4 is more the norm).
Good product arrive on time, cheaper than market.

Basically you have to shoot at the sensor within 50cmish on the front of your opponents gun

We got the alphapoint pistol version too and found that because they are smaller and can be moved around faster its harder to hit them

Theres options to play team vs team or free for all given we only have 3 we could only try free for all

The app is excellent and offers a decent solo game of shooting a virtual target on the phone screen phone attaches to the front of the gun

For multiplayer the phone attaches to your arm and it aids the game well

If you like the part of traditional nerf where your opponent winces a little on being hit by foam bullet this wont be for you obviously

Dont buy as a single item you need at least two of these or the other bundle from nerf which is 2 guns in one
