My only gripe about this nerf blaster is that the cocking slide will become locked if you use slam fire too fast without any darts loaded into the blaster although it might be a signal for reloading

I tried opening it up to see if i could reset the trigger mechanism but its pretty sealed with no access to the spring unless you want to break the glue welding

This model not the previous version in white can be modified and perform better than several hundred dollar models

If you were to only ever own one nerf gun you couldt go wrong choosing the 2x4

Hard to hit a target with this gun though as the darts split slightly out of the barrel and you are liable to shoot a dart on either side of your target
