The modular design is fun, it turns into many different shapes so it will make the child get bored of it less. My 7 year old little boy is a nerd gun collector. He wants to have a nerf battle birthday day party.

Buy extra magazines to keep feeding it darts. It's very accurate for a dart blaster, especially with the waffle-head darts. Great gun, but as with all motorized rapid strike mechanisms, will jam time to time.

Children, especially mine, have been coddled far too long. Might as well flush 60 dollars down the toilet. Can't return destroyed the packaging in the christmas excitement.

Most jam frequently and destroy nerf bullets. Jams too much no power. Also, holding 2 triggers at once to fire is pretty inconvenient.

The stock bends like crazy. The construction is shody. This leads to attachments slipping and loosening with the slightest motion.

It is extremely loud and you could never hide with it. It's underpowered on a fresh set of batteries. Took both of them back and chose a gun without batteries.
