Pros

The cookwell is not heavy like the crockpot slow cookers. It's much more versatile than a slow cooker or crock pot.

This little roaster so far is pretty great. Frees up your oven for thxgiving & xmas. A nice bridal shower/wedding gift.

These are the best thing to own if you don't want a kitchen full of appliances. Being able to adjust the temperature more accurately than l-m-h is important. The price is great because they last for decades.

Cons

No full refund is available and there is a huge restocking fee. Maybe a bad one in the lot, but try some qc.

The cook well seems more like enamel, porcelain-enamel. Outside of the cooking pan has severe drip marks where the enamel paint was unevenly distributed and not smoothed out.

The inner vessel is thin, lightweight and now peeling. Its body has dents that seem to be a lack of thoroughly bending the outer metal casing to match it's base. The temperature is quite unstable as well.

The instructions say to send the warranty card in within one week. Sent it back unused 5 min after opening. Had to throw away.

It started to rust in all the places the coating fell off.

This roaster heats from the sides and not from the bottom meaning no sticking or burning.
