Pros

This dehydrator is a fantastic first-time-user machine. My sister has an earlier, more basic model and i'm glad i stepped up when making this purchase. I'm loving it.

Nesco fd-61 operates quietly, and the trays are well-deigned for drying and storage. Multiple temps settings make it very versitile.

It is very easy clean-up since the blower is top-mounted instead of at the bottom. I recommend ordering extra screen savers this helps with easy clean up.

I like the fact that it is expandable, and availability of extra trays. I like that it has the hole in the middle because it helps the air circulate.

No problems whatsoever. Still a great product & use often. This particular brand works very well and i will continue to purchase them.

Cons

Nesco fd-61 is a poorly designed piece of garbage. The dehydrator overheated to the point that it melted the plastic trays.
