Pros

The nesco performs as expected. It's pretty it's red it's a decent size but not overly big.

Nesco 18 quarts roaster pan is great for large batches of chicken soup/rice dog food. Cleaning the removable insert pan is a bit challenging but that is to be expected. Temperature gauge is wonderful because you can use this oven for many things.

Cons

It is plenty big, but didn't work as a slow cooker. Manufacturer was in a hurry to get them to market and didn't bother to enforce quality control.

I got the red because it was cheaper but i am glad i did.

You definitely get what you pay for.

The packaging the roaster comes in however was completely torn up.

Well the huge box we got it in was not damaged at all looked fine.

Competitiveness

I purchased this after returning another of a different brand and am glad i did.

I have the same model that's about 30 years old and a brand new one and i love both of them.

I have had two other roasters and when i decided to get a new one, nesco was the old familiar brand i remember from my younger years.
