The rod is released by turning the jack on it's side and prying the end of the rod out of a hole, then the rod flies off.

If you want a good, reliable jack, this one is for you.

This is a great jack for the price.

It did it all, plus it's great looking!

The floor jack's packaging was ripped when it got to me but thankfully there was no damage.

The jack was shipped in a cardboard box with styrofoam blocking, as heavy as the jack is, the packaging held up very well.
