Pros

The ability to customize the size and intensity of each cup is a fantastic feature that caters to individual preferences. This is great when you are busy and juggling a big travel mug that doesn't quite fit under the spout.

The nespresso vertuo plus is an outstanding coffee machine. It is a little lightweight being made of more plastic than my old one but it is slightly smaller and very easy to use. It's easier to use because the machine has automatic open and close.

For each step there is a specific button, lever, or a combination of the two to accomplish. Once tank is empty, clean and refill tank with clean water. Then restart descaling process to rinse machine.

Cons

The coffee is just meh. Overall, this machine seems to be cheaply manufactured. Nespresso is being really * for making the majority of their machines not cater for the us market.

Nespresso very loudly market the fact that this can make large cups of coffee. The pods are too costly for the amount you get as well.

When you try to reuse, the coffee in the second cup is extremely diluted and takes strange. Use distilled or ro (reverse osmosis) water.

I have one and bought one for a gift love it and saves a lot of money.

Repairs would have been almost as expensive as a new one.

I would literally recommend this to anyone who likes fancy coffee but not the high prices of buying it everyday.

Packaging/appearance

The package included a milk frother which makes plenty of foam and warm milk.

As soon as i opened it and set it up there was a red ring, wouldn't open, and wouldn't factory reset.

Competitiveness

Makes awesome espresso at home - as good or better than starbucks.

Be prepared, the coffee is stronger than the usual coffee maker even keurig.

And don't compare it to the keurig stuff.

Found three different options to to use your own grounds to bypass the expensive pods.
