Pros

De'longhi doesn't drip as much as the breville and is easier to use and drop capsules into. Nespresso pods are easy to use in the machine. The pod hatch is open after brewing to capture the extra water coming out into the cup.

I love espresso (italian-american) but didn't wanna shell out a grand or more, so this is a great alternative. Great little machine and makes a decent shot of espresso or americano. I certainly hope it lasts me a good long time.

Cons

This machine smashes the pods so you can't use them and doesn't make coffee. The espresso size gives you just a squirt of coffee no matter what you do. If using a larger mug, the spout often is not quite far enough out so drips occur. It ruins one out... Read More

Support is * poor and it just too much of a hassle. Overall frustrating.

Capsule collector basket is contantly full of water and brown slime. Machine is also extremely loud when dispensing. My sister in law has a similar machine and it works fine, mine however, destroys 1/3 of the capsules i try to load.

We had a problem with the first unit and they replaced it right away !

To help with the leakiness, i open the pod hatch after brewing and close it to capture the extra water coming out into the cup.

Competitiveness

With gizmo at home, i get awesome tasting espresso and cappuccino within seconds, and at a fraction of the cost of starbucks.

We bought this nepresso exactly the day after we moved in usa.
