The silky crema that tops each cup is delightfully luscious. Worth every penny. Minor quibble for a great cup o joe though.

Cons

The manual itself is a nightmare. The picture on the box is the one we ordered on listing! Extremely disappointed. Not soul-soothing, happiness-in-a-mug, coffee bitter.

Customer support is friendly but it is a pain because they run you through all the same troubleshooting tasks that i already know. Returned for a refund, dissapoined.

It is stuck with a blinking red light. I regularly get the machine ramping up after i push the button to start brewing, then it stops and button turns solid red. Tried factory reset etc.

Its capsule recycling is excellent and the 25 second heat up is perfect for busy mornings.

The coffee is excellent, right temperature, and no grinding, filters etc involved.

The single-serve feature prevents coffee waste and it brews quickly.

There is a whirring sound while brewing so if you need dead silence virtuo is not the item for you.

Price

The pods can be a little pricy but i can drink 7 or 8 coffees and it's cheaper than 1 drink from starbucks.

I noticed the $10 off next purchase expired on 12.

Now i seldom buy $7-11drinks at starbucks.

Pods are a bit pricey, but it is a nice luxury.

Shipping

It just came yesterday, but it arrived without an instruction booklet.

The order and delivery times for the nespresso capsules is always fast.

Competitiveness

Breville licenses the manufacture of nespresso's virtuo smart machine and i give breville the highest compliments for fit 'n finish.

The selection is excellent and the price per pod, while higher than the k-cups, is worth it if you insist on quality over price.
