The energy-saving shut-off makes me feel good about my ecological footprint. The seasonal blends are a delightful surprise and the complimentary capsule set was a nice touch. The recyclable capsules make it an eco-friendly option.

Cons

There was a coupon for $10 off first order but coupon expired 12/31. The way the water holder connects is so tenuous i could see that getting broken just under light use.

Good news stops there. My recommendation is do not buy this model. It's very expensive. This is one major reason i would not recommend it.

It's like a birthday gift every time you open the box.

Competitiveness

Still cheaper, and way better, than starbucks.

Can't go back to folgers or keurig once you have this.

I prefer this to the delonghi manufactured model.
