This has a gel and bamboo cover while tempur-pedic has polyester. The cooling side of the cover really works. Even after washing, the pillowcase stays cool. It actually feels cool and breathable too, especially with a bamboo pillowcase.

This pillow is perfect for my side sleeping and stays fluffy. It feels firmest if you don't remove any stuffing. It's comfy but wished the specs were more honest. He is a side sleeper and it is great for him.

Best nights sleep in a while, no sweating. Only downside is that if i try to sleep with the cooling side down, the pillow will slide off my sheets throughout the night. I sleep on mine nightly and yes, after almost 2 years mine still are cool!

Came vacuumed flat and expanded over time. It's very fluffy and luxurious feeling.

The only option is to remove stuffing (unless i borrow from another pillow) and then i might as well just not use a pillow at all. I feel terribly guilty that these pillows are now landfill somewhere. Immediately repacked for return.

First impressions are lumpy couch cushions. I'm not sure how they would be cooling unless you used no pillowcase or one with a breathable fabric. The cooling gel foam on the inside does basically nothing other than provide fluff as far as i can tell.
