Fabric is like a soft crushed velvety material. My only concern is the handles, when lifting it with both handles the fabric or stitching sounds like its being pushed to the max.

Be cautious when purchasing this item. This pillow just goes to show amazon is the modern oriental trading co. Do not buy. Find something somewhere else that will at least let you return the item should the craftsmanship be very poor.

It's shredded memory foam so it's lumpy. It goes from soft pieces to clumps of cardboard-like hard.
