Usb type c on the other hand isnt going anywhere so i dont imagine the hardware will get outdated toward incompatibility over the course of the next 2 decades at least

Heres a stick to throw i ran a readwrite benchmark test on it and it did not read at 2000mb per second but at a little over 200mb per second
