This is the best managed switch i've used. Can't recommend it enough.

Cons

Gs108t is basically garbage. It turns itself off. Unfortunately, this model has a bad habit of dropping all link randomly.

All in all, this looks like a very capable switch at a very affordable price.

This model had the right specs at a good price.

Only thing i hated was having to pay a little more for something a $15-20 unmanaged switch couldnt do.

Cheap remote cloud management with insight ($10/year).

Competitiveness

We don't have these mixed with other vendors (or even a different series from netgear) so i can't talk to that.

This version does not do poe passthrough (there is another model that does pass through on a few ports), it only can be powered by poe.

These are much cheaper than mikrotik switches while offering lower thermals and higher reliability and ease of setup.
