Quality
I'm getting more consistent speeds above 8gbps than with the qnap switch in the mix.
Very pleased with the performance was using a gigabit unit for years not one issue so far this one is no different.
Downsides are nitpicks, i'm happy with the unit.
Being a business class switch the warranty is very good and i would say the over all quality is very good as well.
Price
Smart managed plus gives you routing choices, and the cost is reasonable for what you're getting!
Competitiveness
I'm able to get a 10gbps link on the netgear switch, using over 115 feet of category 6 cable .
The sound level is acceptable, the switch is close to my workstation is quieter than our qnap nas.
Then the netgear switch is connected to a qnap qsw-308-1c 10gbe switch.
Edit: i replaced my qnap 10gbe switch with a zyxel 10gbe switch that also has two 2.

It looks the same has 10g ports and likely the same switching hardware however it otherwise is just a dumb switch

I opened up the switch and simply cut out only those few inches of plastic that were blocking the vents on the back and now the switch is still running pretty hot but not close to what it was

The shouldve not blocked those vents and at a minimum shouldve more vents on the back

Out of the box settings are great but configuration to bond links and qos are available via pretty decent web and app interfaces

I did not bother with the insight app as this switch defaults to the internal web interface
