Pros & Cons
Pros
The only time i have to touch it is when i reset the network, or, to dust it off on cleaning day. My only complaint is the description on amazon which describes it as a switch / hub / splitter. Will still be able to use this one though. I have a firew... Read More

Cons
When i set it up and logged into the web gui, it started bugging me about registering the switch with netgear. That multiplies the cost of the switch many, many times.
Since the netgear is unmanaged, there is not way on troubleshooting the device itself. It’s on and lights are flashing green but no computer registers an ethernet connection. Tried over 6 different cables, restarting router, etc.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to setup, works flawlessly just plug n play
Works great, is easy to install, fast.
It is mounted in a closet and i have checked it several times and it has not heated up even during high usage times.
After an hour of pluging and un-pluging, all that was left was the switch and it was only 11 years old!
Price
Love the inexpensive simplicity of this switch.
I can't believe they are selling at under $20 here.
Great product at a great price--the headline says it all.
No problems, does what it is advertised to do, and at a good price.
