Pros

Metal body is durable. Packaged very well and doesn't overheat or get to hot.

Cons

Product is defective right out of box. Device cannot be pinged ~4 hours after a hard reset - repeatable. Troubleshooting with isp, calling router manufacturer and electrician.

Dirty and deceitful. Looks to be repacked. No fallback is terrible design.

The large print on the rebate form instructions say, send only one rebate from when submitting claims for multiple products on this promotion. Netgear warranty is not worth the gamble to purchase and it is on ly 365 days.

The company outsources all its calls to india and they will trick youvinto registering it. No snmp support for a purported managed switch.

They work really good and are a well made bulletproof construction.

Great management ui, easy to configure vlans, port enable/disabling, qos (not that i use it, lol), etc.

The software won't work until you configure the switch with the webpage interface.

Just plug the modem into the router and the router out to the switch or it wont recognize it on computer or gaming systems.

Price

Worth the extra ten bucks over the unmanaged.

I paid a few dollars more and got the metal one with lifetime warranty.

If you need a reliable and affordable switch to expand your home or small office network, this is a great choice!
