Pros & Cons
Pros
The gs316epp has an astounding budget of 231watts which works out to about 16w per port. I love the 120w capacity as it is more than enough to power some poe cams. Power cord has a big block transformer, which is a drag, but is also a sign that it was... Read More
Port 5 is intended for uplink (to your router or to another switch) they also have helpful descriptions for those less familiar with networking terminology. It’s a gb ethernet switch.
Well built sturdy all metal casing. It supports way more than i need, but it is solid and reliable.
The fact that its actually manageable at this price. Switching tab aside, settings are clear and concise. Configuration of the switch is easy from the gui.
Cons
If you don't care about the insight app connectivity then this is a decent 2. The configuration software is terrible. If you need to configure your switches for whatever purpose there are some that don't require subscriptions and offer far more config... Read More
This does work but it happens to shut off very frequently. When it does work however i normally just use it to try and relieve stress off my wireless router. I am unsure if it is defective but it shuts off randomly.

Price
99 and given the 123w think its a great price to value.
Management- the fact that its actually manageable at this price.
The other thing that costs this a half star is the ridiculous external power supply.
Update: i liked the 5 port so much and was hoping it would come back on sale but saw the 8 port for $79.
Shipping
Got the netgear was able to setup and login quickly.
I received it on time, i am very satisfied with my purchase.
:) received it same day which made it much better for me.

For those of you who much prefer putty to a web browser, that simply isn't an option.
