It's still running great with my internet service, should be even more affordable now with newer models yearly.
Cutting back on expenses so investigated wifi routers to stop paying the monthly rental fees.
It was affordable for me, saved me in monthly rental fees to internet provider, paid for itself after couple of months.

Replaced the $15/mo xfinity router with this unit.
Overall this product is great for 800mbps connection from most companies like xfinity etc.
My problem is they contract out to foreign companies for tech support and that's where the biggest problem is.
I purchased this model to replace the rental unit that we currently had with cox communications.

Well my isp wouldn’t allow me to use this modem as they rather rip me of renting one of their junk

But the netgear support was awesome and he talked to my isp with me to troubleshoot to no fault of netgear

After setting up the router i called cox communications for activation

They notified me that this product was not compatible with their system

Only downside to what i was doing was everything i had to update with the new wifi and that had nothing to do with the new modem
